Artificial intelligence through the eyes of the ancients
How I invented my predecessors
For a Roman, artificial intelligence would be neither good nor bad;
it would be neutral.
The Roman would tell you to look at who creates the artificial intelligence
or who uses it,
to know what it might cause: harm or not.
An Egyptian would tell you that,
if artificial intelligence caused harm, and that brought pleasure to the wicked,
the latter would think that he had done what was right.
PS Those lacking wisdom are against artificial intelligence in general if some created it or used it to do harm. Do not be against it, but against its miscreation or misuse.
No unexamined artificial intelligence is worthy of our trust or distrust.
